“The Best of Both” is a unique bicycle race/ride to be staged in the beautiful mountain town of Bend, Oregon, on June 16th, 2018. The event is the first of its kind to combine road cycling and mountain bike riding within one conclusive race distance, bringing a cross-section of competitive bike racers together for the first time to compete head-to-head.

The event has multiple options for riders of all levels of fitness and ability, with “Open Pro” Men and Women solo races, an amateur race, and a Team Relay. But this isn’t JUST a race. For those who want to cruise this course and enjoy the view, so we have a non-competitive “Fondo” style ride for those who wish to complete the course at their own pace. Once the racers have hit the road, our Fondo riders head out onto this incredible road course. On re-entry at the Wanoga Snow Park, our riders transition to mountain bikes and start our single-track course from the trailhead in the event village.

And for those who want to share the experience, why not partner up and ride in our relay race? One rider takes on the road course before handing off to a friend, wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, Mom, Dad, colleague, or partner, for the off-road leg. This event will challenge all levels of fitness and ambition.
