GLOVES

Today we received our first delivery of gloves produced by Giro. These full finger DND models are cut incredibly well. The team has race tested them over the past two seasons, and we are happy with the finished pieces. They are available in Black, or Hi-vis yellow, and available now in our shop!

TUESDAY AM RIDE

This Tuesday’s AM ride will head north on track/road bikes for a 2-3 hour adventure. Coffee is on at 7:45am, and out the door by 8am. Bring a helmet!

RED HOOK 2013

The Red Hook Criterium is proud to announce the introduction of a cohesive championship series which will take place over four rounds. Points will be accumulated throughout the season to award the first Red Hook Criterium World Champion. The first round will take place on March 30th in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Additional race dates, venues, and cities will be announced shortly.

In addition we will be introducing a new qualifying format, a constructors/team cup, and an expanded prize list. We are also increasing our focus on the 5k running race with a two race series, the men and women’s fields held separately, and USATF certified courses.

We do not have a ride planned for this Tuesday AM, and the shop will be closed in celebration of the new year. If your up, an looking for friends to ride with, still meet at the shop at 8AM, and link up, and get out!

W.BUB.III

Walton has been capturing more moments since he picked up a new camera. Looking back through his recent submissions reminded me what it feels like to be out there. We are all out there, but with Walt, it is this unfiltered point of view, that for me resinates. Moments, that add up to a bigger picture. I will always love the mystery of a photograph. Info, but not too much. Moments otherwise spoiled by video capture, a photo leaves room for the viewer to interpret, and read into a moment. Loose story telling.
