San Bruno Mar 30, 2010 Categories: MASH Frames 0 Comment This afternoon we climbed up San Bruno Mountain with Rainier. By the time he hit the top, hail was falling, and we were soaked. As we waited for the rain to clear, I shot a couple photos of his Broakland setup. He won these hubs at one of our races in 2007, and they could not have gone to better use. He changed up his street gear to push some bigger decents. 81 inches currently, and looked super smooth, and in control always. 50mph winds dried the street fast. The sun came out, dried the streets, and it was a quick run back into the city. At two points my speedometer said 45mph on the way down, and we were going the exact same speed as Rainier. Always inspiring to watch him on the street.
