Event recap in photos

Event recap in photos: 5_22_10 Project Space, 603N La Brea, LA CA

Bikes stacked up out front. Always my favorite organic sculpture of any bike themed event.

Hernan threw a race that ended at Project Space. It was a really fun format to have overlap with the Tour of California’s LA stage.

Was psyched steyck came out. Getting up close with the race winner.

Paparazzi getting images of the racers coming in.

Starting them young! Cool to see the groms out there.

Let’s go inside.

The TT FG set-up owned by Garrett on display, with panoramic landscapes from the trip.

Garrett and Juliette enjoying the moment

I spy something reda. Gabe raced, and was well in the top 10.

Scraper face is the new scraper bike.

As a photographer of 20 years, I have been enjoying the modern age, and what feels like the general public falling in love with cameras, photographs, and recording life. Here are some tools of the trade.

Garrett is a huge force for this entire project to happen, and it has been really fresh to record these days with him.

The video component of the show is really the life force for the project. The story is here, and it makes you want to create your own adventure, and includes the insite on what drives us.

Down in front!!

Someone wake walton, their going to announce the race results! Thanks to Hern for making this mini-stage race happen.

Walton won this race, including all three stages that had no mandatory order. Will post proper results soon. Again, thanks to LA for coming out an making this a great time. DEEP

More results here soon

Locals networked future races while the crowd was in one place.

Big thanks to Garrett, Will, Walton, Blake, Megan, Michelle, Gabe, Juliette, Kevin, Martin, and Bernard for all your help on our end. Thanks to The entire Incase/Arkitip family for offering this amazing platform.
We wish Jonathan, and Rainier could have made it down for the show. Would have really made it feel complete. Look for the show to come to SF this summer.

On your mark!

Enclosed are some details from the show over the weekend in LA. We took the seventh day off, but will contiue to post some moments. The entire effort by everyone involved made something really special happen last weekend.

In MASH fashion, EVERYONE put in focused time making this a really complete feeling show. The components inside the gallery add depth, and share what it is WE fan out on!!

This could be yours. Size 55/Large.

Foreman watching over our employee of the month. Damn, damon is rad. A really authentic person, and gives 200%.

Hernan created a mini stage race for the event. Could not have asked for a more well rounded rider on point for us in LA.

Walton was really absorbing all of these shared memories as they came from the shipping covers to the wall.

Best ship in a bottle project ever. Hope someone breaks the bottle at sails this ship.

A vinyl plotter could still be the best graffiti tool of the century. instant authentic look on a recycled sign.

Plug and play

Hernan has been a big help with the show. He was wearing the Drag Race shirt we made for 2007. Classic

Michelle made use of a pedal wrench in framing

Ground glass

Feels really strong to have captured all these moments from the trip, and give them a framed/finished life to share with others.

Tonight we will add a new video preview to our site. We will also be offering some new styles, including the 2010 MASH kit!

Project Space 5 20 2010

Tonight we linked up at Project Space, and began the transformation. Part of a breakdown/setup is clearing a space, and effort put in from the previous artist. Let the layers of paint catalog all the moments this space will help bring to fruition. Will take time this weekend to update some of the process of the show, and it’s components. Night!

Thanks!!!

We want to take a moment to thank Tim Brooks, and his family for all they have sacrificed over the last month. We brought you a project any editor would ask for a year to edit, and you saw the light at the end of the tunnel, and made something so strong. We can’t wait to show this story to our friends in LA. Thanks to the original crew who made this adventure possible. Thanks to the riders who remind us to get on our bikes each morning, one leg at a time. Thanks to Damon, and Scott for giving us a soapbox and a working mic to share these ideas, and inspire riders around the world. Thanks to Brandon, for acting as the sharpest mirror. Thanks to our interns who crushed in a time of crunch. You guys have proven that their is strength in numbers. Thanks to Jonathan and Garrett for continuing to hold the torch so high, we all want to stand under it, and absorb it’s light. I would like to take a moment to say thank you to Michelle and Mika, for understanding life happens in waves, and to be flexable. You make taking steps forward easy. Thanks to Gabe for being consistant, and to let us take these risks with MASH. You inspire us on, and off the bike.

See you guys in LA!

We will also offer a complete bike, and 2 frame sets at the Project Space show this Saturday. Designed and finished by Garrett. Come get a piece of history. Touched by a classicist. Walton not included.
