Feb 28, 2009 Categories: MASH Frames 0 Comment FYI We have been working on a backpack with SAG for 19 months now. The bag is to release in a month or so now. The MASH store will be the ONLY place you will be able to get this bag in the US. We wanted it to be affordable (220$) not 260$ that chari has put pre-orders on their site. The only way to do this was to offer it directly from us for the american market. Not to worry. chari will not be carrying this piece, so prepare for a refund, and to save an additional 40$. Stay tuned.

Feb 26, 2009 Categories: MASH Frames 0 Comment Josh Kadis Wanted to take a minute to say thanks to Josh for his support in helping get this trip organized. We all learned a ton from this experience, and was cool for us to see a road version, and for you to see a raw version. Thanks!!!!!!
Feb 26, 2009 Categories: MASH Frames 0 Comment RAD! As a TofC traveling course marshal, I couldn’t believe my eyes when I noticed the MASH guys out on the road during Stg 1. I was truly impressed and pointed them out to all of my fellow marshals. We all pretty much thought “what the hell are they thinking” to even attempt the TofC route on fixed gear. Yet everyday, there they were doing, what I thought was impossible. Finally had two MASH riders stop near my location on Stg 7 along Soledad Canyon Rd. I told them we’d noticed them each day and that we were cheering them on to the finish. Congratulations MASH and I can’t wait to see the video.
Feb 24, 2009 Categories: MASH Frames 0 Comment Walton found a wallet on the last day. On the side of the highway, no ID, just 530$, a condom, and a quarter. He gave half to blake to replace the camera he broke in his fall. bros before…He later had his own technique for saying goodbye to sharkey.
Feb 23, 2009 Categories: MASH Frames 0 Comment Tour of California in the bag Completed day 9 yesterday. Palomar was no joke. 5300 feet, and everyone was in good spirits. Was a serious effort, and the last 30 miles coming back felt like 100 miles. Rainier and walton never showed pain the entire trip, so by day nine, it was nice to see they too were human. Rainier dropped a chain going maybe 35mph descending. He had record time from clipped to foot jam. Thanks to the guys at montonovelo for sending some last minute rings and cogs for sundays climb. If we could have found something bigger then 22 in the back, these guys would have been fighting over it.Walton with a dick move, but fuck it, He earned that shit.Bring it with usWe ride for our selves, but it was incredible to see these guys create their own version of team effort.
