Enclosed are some studio photos of a couple new bar tape options from Cinelli. There is a Volee version, and a classic cork. Again, it’s an honor to collaborate with Cinelli on this level. We look forward to seeing more new offerings at Interbike this year.

Volee has a really nice grip, a lean profile,and cleans up well. More from Vegas in a few weeks.

Yesterday I was in San Jose with family, and had a moment to stop by Hellyer Velodrome for the bay area stop of the Velocity Tour. Enclosed are a few details from the infield.

Congrats to TCB Steve for bringing home the win for Men’s Messenger. He had to pass on the flight because he will be riding across the US during the worlds this year. Next year.. Warsaw!!!

Cinelli is a legendary in cycling for producing timeless wrap for handlebars. We could not have been happier with the opportunity to put our twist on this italian classic. Look for more info at this years shows.

Mapping has always played a visual roll in our language, so again it seemed fitting to offer this texture to bikes around the world.

Pristine Race / TOC Screening Part 2

Yo!
Today is my first day back in SF, and it is a heatwave by our standards! SF summer is Sept, and Oct, so looking forward to these days. Enclosed are some more details from the race and screening we threw at Pristine last weekend. Sorry short for words today. Will add some more thoughts later, but want to share some images as I get over some jetlag.

The intended purpose is for it’s user to offer up a suggested location for others to create a scenic image of their own. A play on Kodak’s original Photo Spot campaign found in theme parks, and national parks around the world. We look forward to this being an ongoing icon for others to share their own favorite locations from rides around the world. Amsterdam Race 8_22-2010

Yesterday we met up at Pristine to see the racers off on their journey through the cities busiest weekend in 5 years. Enclosed are some details from the event.

The route was set to have to travel back and forth along the harbor where the boating events were taking place. 500k visitors from around the world descend on the city, and we were there to send riders through the mess.

Ghost in the machine

35 racers, and support came out to run this one. The skies said rain, but held out for our racers.

International language

Rotterdam came out!

Stefan got the riders prepped. He knows this city as a vetren messenger, and brought these riders to some sites never before seen.

This was a fun start. Foot race to your bike across cars and train tracks

And a headwind of dutch commuters.

8_21_2010 Amsterdam

Together with Pristine, we are throwing a race here in Amsterdam. The streets here are crazed, and the routing is a another story. You can’t really run a huge gear like many flat cities. There is too much switchback, cobblestone, and circular streets filled with commuters, and tourists. Should be a blast.
